Loud Millennial Does Frenchmen: The Recap After The Hangover

When I was invited to attend the Frenchmen parties for Heroes weekend, let’s just say I was more than ready to take the drive to Ochi, book my villa with my girlfriends and have the time of my life – for two days anyway. The Frenchmen series has set the bar high for a premium party experience worth talking about and this weekend was no different. The series hosted 3 events, the Riseup breakfast party, NightCap and the climax of the night, Foreplay.

Riseup kicked off at Pearly Beach at 6 in the morning- an odd hour for me who prefer my night parties in the cool air but I digress. I entered the venue and was immediately impressed by the chic decor and the vibrant music being juggled by  Marlon Musique who kept us on our feet for most of the party. It wasn’t too long before I found the bar and food tents. The party was a cooler fete but what do you know, a bar was ready and waiting for my patronage. Absolut vodka and Pure Country orange juice were my choices – at 6 in the morning.

Frenchmen is known for adding it’s special touch to the whole party experience, but it was the convenient hospitality tents that stood out to me and others who wished to step away and have a little RnR in the restrooms with complementary perfume and femmine products. That, was noteworthy.

Night cap

The pajama themed party, Nightcap , commenced at 10 pm in the cool night air… a rather different experience from Riseup but equally enjoyable. Admittedly the crowd was on the more mature side and we partied to older music selections of Soca, hip hop and dancehall…Totally fine by me. It eventually transitioned to the modern stuff with the crowd bouncing to Ding dong. Delectable food, drinks flowing and my friends and I dressed in pajamas and lingerie…The vibe was memorable.

Foreplay

If you ask me what my favourite event was for the weekend, I will say it has to be Foreplay. I walked into paradise with the venue exoticly decorated. Hostesses greeted everyone with drinks at the entrance and the crowd was clad in beach chic wear. The Djs were the ones to thank for this one as the music kept us moving. The catamaran cruise and Milani cosmetics makeup bar were also pleasant additions to the party.

Frenchmen, thank you for a great ‘F’ing’ time! Can’t wait to see what you bring to your next event.
